The European branch of the International Academics for West Papua is set to launch in mid-November at the British Houses of Parliament . The branch will be launched during an introductory meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on West Papua.

The International Academics for West Papua (IAWP) network will have its launch in the Pacific region at the University of Sydney on September 1. IAWP will be launched in Australia at the conference, ‘Beyond the Pacific: West Papua on the World Stage’, hosted by the West Papua Project at the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University.
